B&B + Campsite

I was briefed by my client earlier this year to increase web-traffic to her B&B + campsite. As most visitors will be looking for a place nearby, I began by focussing on the google maps profile. This is where same-day bookings are expected to originate from.

I made updates to coincide with begining of season. The changes resulted in a boost to organic search rankings. These results that are relevant to the user's search query, not promoted or paid-for. Here's the time-line:

There's heaps more work to do to increase the conversion, but we've got off to a great start!

Film Festival

I was fortunate to meet the director of a London film festival recently. I was keen to get involved (mostly for freebies!) and offered him my services. When we sat down to discuss his site, I showed him the dashboard of hits arriving on the B&B + campsite website. He was really impressed and he asked me to do something similiar!

The season is nearly upon us and I am putting together a strategy for promoting his site. I'll keep this page updated - please return.
